I am after a good black standard steering wheel for a mighty boy.
I'll pay a fair price or I'll swap it for an original RS sports steering wheel.
cheers

Mighty Boy Steering wheel, anyone?
I've got a few, but they all suffer the common fault of separation gap at the top.
F8B EFI turbo - Three pots and a snail.
The problem is that the plastic shrinks due to heat. The only fix I can think of would be to fill it with resin, sand and paint the entire wheel so it matches. Of course the last part of that solution is only necessary if you need a concourse quality finish.

The professionals repair steering wheels with either body filler or as I did with something like Devcon (TM)Plastic steel which is a 2 part epoxy that is dark grey to black when cured. I wrapped a piece of tape around the gap for a form, mixed the epoxy & put it into a syringe to get it into the tape. It worked well. I ended up stitching a steering wheel cover over it as the rim is too slim for my hands & the wheel diameter was just only too small for the cover to grip the wheel.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..
I have one from an Alto Works if interested?
It needs to be re-trimmed as the foam stuff is starting to flake off in sections. A nice leather wrap would go well.
Let me know if you want some photos and pricing.

i used some of that areldite in a syringe stuff and black sewing cotton just tied it off put a dop of the sticky stuff on and kept wrapping it around untill it was at the right hight then coated it with some more areldite and left it to dry sanded it back with very fine wet and dry passed a roadworthy no probs looked a treat hardly even noticed it was repaired unless you knew it was there.
