Has anyone done the conversion? I'm interested to know what's involved because I can get a low KM 'box (& whatever other bits are req.) at the right price.
Bellhousing pattern the same?
Mounts ?
Flywheel/Clutch?
Shift linkages?
Driveshafts? Length/Spline?
Any known issues with the 'Woo gearboxes?

Yes it has been done - there is a search function up to the right that should find the thread for you.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..
