Hey guys, just doing a conversion from auto to manual on my f8b and was wanting to know what the difference between the two carbys?

Difference between carbys
Not much difference. The auto carby has an extra vacuum solenoid on the throttle (removable) and an fuel enrichment setup that kicks in on overrun. Ideally you'd want a manual carby, but the auto unit will work, although it should technically be a little heavier on fuel.
