I need to put a new set of rings in the boy, just wondering if there is a kit available e.g. gaskets etc. or is it better to just buy the bits individually?

Hi,
i have done the rings on both of my boys and bought them and then a vrs kit and bearing separately. if you are doing the rings t might be worth doing the mains and big ends while you are in there. i went through suzistore for bits and pieces. they were able to help with the crank thrust bearings too. the suzuki dealer in ballina didnt even have a part listing for them.
just remembered that my first mb was very smokey ad a change of the valve stem seals cleared that up. this was a quick and easy fix without having to remove the head.

Thanks Jason, It doesn't blow any smoke on start up so I assumed it wasn't the valve guide seals but I might replace them anyway to see if that improves it because they are an easy fix...Here's hoping..
