Hi guys I'm wondering if anyone has purchased a new F8b engine from china and got it in and working

I have purchased a F8b motor from China. It turned out to be EFI not carburettor. It is not a task for the Faint hearted. What you get is everything full motor including intake and exhaust along with gearbox. The wiring harness is basically the front end harness that does everything on the front end, so needs to be reduced to what you need to run the engine. Make sure you get the wiring diagram and a Chinese translator. The EFI engine needs a new fuel pump in the tank to get the right pressure. The whole task to me a year on and off but the result is very satisfying. The engine runs very well. There are many other finer point that I can comment on if your are interested.

I'm sure there would be plenty of interest in the detail, like where you bought it, the cost with shipping, what ECU you installed, and photos if you have any.
