Hard cover set up

Hey guys I'm currently building a hard cover for my mightyboy and am wondering how everyone has hindged there's?

Piano hindge I'm not a fan of and have heard a cupboard door hindge can work but pics would be nice thanks

why not piano hinge? i used stainless piano hinge in 3 places, its been great for years!

I thought the paint would crack off the joints? Like as it goes up and down would run the edge of te paint off then flake off. I no it wouldn't rust as its stainless but didn't want it to look all flaked

Just zoomed in on your hard cover and I see what you have done, mine is a different set up I didn't go up the body like you have.

See I made up a fixed piece to the. Hindge the rear off, also going to use linear actuators to lift it up/down for added coolness lol
