Hey guy anyone have any experience at taking apart a gearbox fwd for f8b.

My gearstick is in the neutral position but my gearbox is stuck in reverse so I'm thinking it's internally as I've taken engine out and inspected everything but inside the trans.

Can someone link me to a guide or assist me where to start to open up my trans to see if the selector clip is broken

haven't done one but i suspect if you take off the plate on the bottom you will be able to move the linkages around to free it up, then you have to work out what the problem is.

Mowog is right, if you drain the box oil you can access the selector fork and springs from the round inspection plate on the bottom of the box. Given how loose the selector mechanism is in these boxes it is pretty easy to jam them up if you go quickly from 1st to reverse.
