I got sick of the beast changing lanes every time it shifted gear so I've changed the lower control arms and bushes. Still yet to take it for a cruise to test it out.
Hopefully my lowered ksfl-12 springs and blocks turn up soon so I can tuck the wheels in the arches.

Oh, and I proposed to my missus in the little zook so now I can never get rid of it :)

Lowered springs in the front and 65mm lowering blocks in the rear..

I have taken the blocks out as it's too rough on bump stops, I need to find some stiffer leaf springs that fit or get these ones changed before I lower the rear.

you can cut the bump stops in half and still have plenty or rubber left. only prob that may leads to is your tyres hitting before it bottoms out. depends on your height/wheels

yeah i thought about that but the springs are too soft as soon as i sit in it it would be back on bump stops again.
do sierra springs or any other cars fit in the hatch? i need to stiffen it up a bit first.

Not much progress recently, I gave it a rough wheel alignment which freed up some spare power for the hills. Apart from that I have just been taking it to the local cruise once a month. Would be good to see some other suzukis there!

Oh man, for the last 20 years the Hatch has been considered only good for a dog kennel, but it is starting to fit right in with the 80's Japanese retro revival happening at the moment.

it sure is, everyone is buying corollas and the likes which is putting their prices up and people are buying everything 80s that they can, its so good to see old cars that arent holdens and fords. i bought this hatch for $200 and it has been the most fun i have had in a car, what other car can you pull onto a main road and hold it flat for nearly a minute and not get in trouble with the cops? haha

100%

The 80's boxy-ness is wonderful and once people have realised that a busted Corolla isn't worth $15k, they start looking for alternatives.
