Hey guys
If you want cheap trailing arms for your carry you can get them from China
however...

I've got a few things from China now and while they seem more or less the same they aren't compared to the genuine part...

After about a year or 2, this happens..
My trailing arm bushes were pretty badly perished so I filled them with a tube of polyurethane, It worked really well.
Just removed the 3 bolts, filled entire bush area with the poly and left them to cure for a few days, now I can no longer rock the van back and forth with the handbrake on and its not overly stiff on the road.
It's a good hack if you don't want to pay $$$ for new bushes! There's a load of youtube videos on the subject.

I dont have the pics anymore (or I dont know what I did with them
)
they split and collapse as you know
of course I could have been just unlucky - but they were both gone - so I suspect old stock, as is often the case from there eg the rubber is already perishing despite them being 'new'
I got a used set (another <JP> carry a long while back) and still going fine....fyi
thats not a bad idea you have also!
