F5A DOHC timing check?

Hey guys, does anyone know where the timing check connector for an Alto Works with an F5A is normally located?
My F5A (in a Mighty Boy) is super-doughy and I just checked the cam timing (which was ok) after randomly advancing the ignition timing (which helped). But if it's in timing lock mode it's not going to advance it any further. I have yet to attach a timing light.
So what's the procedure for checking timing on these things?
