hey, new to the forums. working on my F8B's carby, does anyone know what this does, if i need to worry about it, and what the factory setting (#of turns out) should be?

As mentioned in the manual it adjusts the a/f mixture at idle. If you need to touch it I'd suggest wind it in until the engine struggles, then back it off a turn/turn and a half.
