Hey guys.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to change the engine simply by propping it up and rolling the car from under it, or do you really need a block and tackle to get it out of the mb?

even if you prop it up you have the from to contend with, and if you roll it , its goin to go no further than the front will allow before hitting your prop.

Seems like a concensus then. A block and tackle from the hire shop is the go then...

Cheers guys

Renting gets expensive you can buy a half or 3/4 tonne chain hoist for $50 or $60 bucks s/h or new for about $100 and you have it for whenever you need it for as long as you need it.
