While not an officially sanctioned TAMON event, as a member of ZZR myself, Dave and Mark got out on the track at Wakefield Park Goulburn for some full throttle action.

I've knocked up a quick VIDEO if anyone wants to see it.

I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to extend an invitation to all TAMON members next time - should be in about 4 months. \:D/

Sadly I didn't organise the last track day so I couldn't invite others. :( (I didn't deliberately not ask you Col. ;) )

Whats with the black bonnet Bray? You run into something, or just afraid to mark the paint?

hehe what that video didnt show was the insane amount of drifting brayden and myself engaged in at the end of the day.. we made the guys in that video of the subaru rexs look like amatures. well we might of found a bit more dirt than them but you get the picture.

and i just have to say, i was extremely pleased with myself after entering the last corner at 130ish kmh completely sideways \:D/

Given the flimsy nature of the MB bonnet latch I didn't want the bonnet to flick open as I was going full tilt down the main straight and make a mess of everything. (I've seen it happen on Swifts)
Now I couldn't see the point in drilling holes into a perfectly good bonnet, so I decided to get an old one to install bonnet pins on. Also to reduce sun glare (I can't wear sunglasses) I painted it matt black, and threw some stickers on it for that racer (ricer) look. :D

[sincerity]Top video mate, thanks for the tasteful soundtrack, too. [/sincerity]

Might I be able to nab a copy of all the raw footage next time I'm up your way with ye olde portable HDD? :)

No arguments from me - Mark has the fastest ute. (and the video proves that.)

Dave wins on being the most nuts - anyone who will put an MB on three wheels doing about 80kph is certified bonkers in my book! :P

I've now got a severe itch that will only be satisfied when I get boosted and back on the track.
And yeah, who would've thought a Ferrari would hold an MB back?! :-o
