That's a great offer there Dave! I'll have to have a think about what i would like, which are mostly small bits & see if i can then afford to ask you if you can get them & ship them for me. :D Cheers ToranaGuy No problem at all. If it's stock parts you want, try to give me your chassis numb...

Anyon need gauge clusters?

Will try and post up items here that I thought you may have an interest in, although if there is something specific please do let me know. So to start off with we have gauge clusters. If you're looking for a gauge cluster for your Suzuki car then let me know the model number and I'll try to find one...

Very happy to help out. The only restrictions I have are with physical dimensions of goods:

Length + (width + height)x2 = 3m

I know import companies kill people for prices and so if I can save you folks some money out there I will. So let me know what you want!

If you boost gauge also reads vac, you should have a look at the idle vac & see what it is - then compare that with a manual to see if your ok in that regards. If so, you won't have any leaks at vac or low boost pressure...... Cheers ToranaGuy Idle vacuum is just under -0.5bar, which is right w...

Need parts from Japan? Then have a read of this!

Firstly, I think a little intro is in order here. I'm Dave, aka "soldave", a Yorkshireman who's been living in Okinawa in southern Japan for the past 5 and a half years. For the past couple of years I've been into the performance car scene and was racing and tuning a 1992 Mitsubishi Evo. I...

Seems to be running fine apart from the lack of boost, yeah.

A little update on my progress (or lack thereof) with this issue. This evening I pulled the hose off the actuator and fitted up a bike pump to it. Gave it a bit of pressure and could see the actuator arm moving smoothly as pressure built up and then subsided. So at least the actuator side of that is...

Should I be able to blow into this nipple?!

A bizarre question, but hopefully one that will get you reading and helping me out. So I'm trying to diagnose my turbo spooling (or lack of spool) issues, and was going through replacing some vacuum lines tonight. I got to the intake manifold and was fitting a couple of new lines when I thought I ma...

use a bike pump to apply the air pressure to the wastegate actuator....NOT an air compressor (for obvious reasons). my money is on; 1. Jammed or rusted wastegate. Unbolt your actuator from the compressor housing and see if you can open and close (pull and push) the wastegate. 2. Boost leak, but wou...

Or I've got boost leaks. Any way to check the first 2?

Well I pulled off the hose going from turbo to actuator and took it for a gentle drive. Even with my foot floored the onset of boost was very laggy. It might have peaked a little higher than before but it was still only doing that at about 5,500-6,000rpm :(

did this on my f6b, but wasnt so gentle, boost gauge cleared 30psi in a hell of a hurry before engine stalled  tried it later on a dyno, the operator said it was actually blowing the fuel back up the injectors :-o strangely enough my engine blew up not too long after, never figured out why :lo...

Brayden wrote:11PSI sounds like what a Wagon R+ would run standard. I think the actuator is doing its job as per its factory setting. If you want more boost, you'll need a bleed valve or EBC.
I thought the Wagon R Wide produced 0.9bar. And it definitely shouldn't be spooling at about 5,500rpm.
