Does this sound like an actuator problem?

Am dealing with the frankly hilarious number of problems this damn Alto Works has, and I've now come to the boost issue, or rather lack of it since I put the turbo from a Wagon R Wide on it. Now I was prepared for a slight increase in lag due to the bigger size of the turbo, but when I hooked up my ...

FS: Suzuki Sports N2 computer for Cappuccino

First of all, I know I've not got many posts here but I am a trader over at an early Mitsubishi Evo forum (evo123.net), so you can buy with confidence I've got here a Suzuki Sports N2 computer with model number 4JA36-N27, which is made for F6A engines in a Cappuccino EA11R. Am sure if you are lookin...

Checking a car gauge is working

When I pulled the gauges from my Evo to sell I held back from selling the oil temp gauge as it wasn't really working. But I've had a look at it and it looks like it's just a wire that went into the harness going into the gauge that was pulled out, and I may be able to get it back in there. But do I ...

Yep, the Starlet ones are a direct upgrade and should slot straight in. I have been looking for some for a while now but there pretty rare in Australia. Can you source them easily in japan and if so how much would a set cost? PS. I have been reading your thread on clubcappo. Not so sure how much a ...

When an N2 is fitted to an F6AT they not only fit a larger capacity turbo but you need bigger injectors (295cc) and colder plugs(8's) but it might depend on what motor you have in your Alto. I've got an F6A and am going to get some 295cc injectors out of a Toyota Starlet which should be a direct re...

Thanks for that. The N1 and N2 computers both remove fuel cut though, as well as the boost and speed limiters.

N2 ECU: boost controller needed?

Have just managed to pick up a Suzuki Sport N2 ECU for my Alto Works (an ECU meant for a Cappuchino, but have looked into it and the ECU is almost exactly the same), which I'll be using alongside my turbo taken off a H10A Wagon R Wide (the choice of upgrade turbo in Japan). What I'm wondering though...

Replacing brake discs - any trouble areas?

Am going to be embarking on a replacement of all 4 brake discs and pads on the Alto on Wednesday, as it looks like the current rotors have been on an age and have certainly seen better days. Was wondering if anyone knew of any difficult bits that might trip me up along the way, or should it just be ...

Yeah, thought a catch can might be better but there's so little room. Might just run a JDM mad tyte drift spec one (i.e. a bottle of Aquarius!).

Gotcha. So coming off the "big box" I could just have a small filter so the gases going out of the crankcase aren't going back into my intake?

Alto Works F6A oil capacities

How much oil is needed for changing both the engine and transmission oil in the Alto Works? Also, what type of oil is everyone using?

Apologies for the noob questions but am just trying to learn as much as I can quickly about the car.

What's this part?

Was just glancing at my engine bay today and was wondering what this part is. It's on the hose that goes from the rocker cover through to the air filter to recirculate, but unless it's some type of big PCV valve I can't work out what it is. Any thoughts would be appreciated :) http://i673.photobucke...
