Re: And so it begins
ISC - Idle Speed Control, ups the idle when it's cold or if there is a load on i.e. aircon. Could live without it but I like the idea of it idleing up when it's cold.

Animated Mighty boy
Don't know if this has been put up before, but here is some animated footage of a Mighty Boy doing what it does best: out running rockets, doing mid air rolls and getting away from the cops!
Enjoy.

Re: And so it begins
OK, so did a little bit more fitting to see how things go and found a little snag. The ISC hits the brake lines on the firewall and I will need to dish the firewall a bit so the connector fits. What are the regs as far as the charcoal canister goes? Do you need to keep it?

Re: Wheel offset
I'm putting 13x6 rims with +23. Needs lots of flare to fit those in. I know what you mean as far as reading the offset though, took me a while to work it out. I guess if you look at it as +0 would be the inside of the rim, then any extra moves the hub further out, or moves the tyre closer to the dif...

Re: And so it begins
Sounds like some fun to be had! What setup wil you be using for the drive pulley? Upsize the existing water/altenator belt, or putting a double pulley on the crank? Going with a single belt ATM. Will move the alternator to the rear and use it as a large adjuster then tighten with a turnbuckle on th...

Re: And so it begins
Well, my little AMR300 turned up today and fits nicely in where the alternator sits. Used the Mighty Boy alternator top bracket just to see how she would sit. IMG_0249.jpg Going to fit an oil filter relocation kit so there are no clearance issues and get some Matiz alternator brackets to mount the a...

Re: arklan f8c engine swap
From looking at those pics, would that alternator bracket line up with the mounts on the F8B?
Would save me making mounts if I move the alternator to fit the supercharger.

Re: Billies New Boy
Thanks for that, I see how they have it mounted now. I'll have another look to see if I can do that. I think I was trying to mount it a bit to low.
Would love the hose flanges off yours.
I've only got the outlet pipe and it looks smaller.

FS: F5A and manual gear box - Hoppers Crossing, VIC
I have just pulled the F5A and manual box out of my Boy and it's up for sale. It was running when I pulled it out, but needed a big tune. Think it has an oil leak around the rocker cover so needs a good degrease. Hurry to get your hands on a great piece of Mighty Boy history. They don't come around ...

Re: And so it begins
Running a pulley system to above the gear box would be interesting.
Also thought about mounting it on top of the engine and have it sticking through the bonnet.![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)
