Re: Re-Placement Door Window Rubbers (Bailey Channel)
Looking at the Clark Rubber site, its a bit hard to tell which one from the small pics.. Do you know the part number / product code for the bailey channel rubbers and pinch weld? Do they have a suitable product to use for door seals?
Cheers.

Re: Oil pressure sender
Thanks Brayden. After driving around ALL morning I found a T Piece at Supercheap thats the same as the NPT T Piece that I have, but this one is all 1/8 BSP. It should be getting the end female thread re-tapped to 1/8 NPT to suit the Speco sender as we speak. If this doesnt work out as planned, I hav...

Re: Oil pressure sender
Just found the Tridon web site that lists the MB oil pressure sender as 1/8 GAS. Not sure what that means but it explains why the 1/8 NPT doesnt fit!

Oil pressure sender
Can anyone tell me what thread the factory oil pressure sender unit is? I want to install a sender unit for an after market oil pressure gauge, while still keeping the factory oil warning light. I did get a T piece the same as the one pictured - 1/8 NPT x 1/8 NPT x 1/8 NPT but I found out the hard w...

Re: Temp sender??
Sounds good, thanks Brayden. There should be no reasons why I couldnt use it for the Speco temp sender then.. If it was good enough for the factory, its good enough for me!
Cheers.

Re: Temp sender??
Thanks for the tip. Sounds fair enough, but if Im not mistaken, the sender unit for the factory temp guage is located directly below where I removed the EGR temp switch from. So virtually in the same location. So is it safe to assume that the accuracy of the factory temp gauge would also leave a lot...

Temp sender??
Hi guys. Can anyone tell me what the part in the photo is, and what it does? Its located above what I assume is the factory temp gauge sender unit, at the back of the intake manifold under the thermostat housing. Does it do anything important or usefull? And more to the point - can I remove it and r...

Re: Parts 4sale/free
Tried to PM but it wouldnt go through.. Kept telling me that you didnt exist! Just wondering if you would consider posting the F5a alternator to Townsville, Qld if you dont get a local buyer? If interested, when you get the chance, could you please let me know the weight and the length, width, and h...

Oil pressure guage
Just wondering how easy or hard it is to fit an oil pressure guage to a F8B? Havent had a look myself yet as I havent been home long enough to check everything out, but Ive noticed Speco have both electric and mechanical oil pressure guages (and temp guages) available so im wondering which one I wou...
