One thing you have to be careful of when using front bars (and other bits of bodykit) from newer cars, is that the designs more often than not, clash. When you have the rounded hatch body look (i'm talking mainly roof, doors and glass here), the sharp edged bodykits kinda look out of place, especial...

I wouldnt be expecting over $500 for this, which is a bargain considering what an aftermarket ECU costs, plus all of the wiring you need to get done!

FS: ECU and Loom to suit F5B/F6A engine - Now with ECU pics

Got an ECU and Loom (Complete and fully intact!!) off an F5B turbo Alto Works. It's from an auto version but i've got every reason to believe that this will suit any F5B and F6A engine/gearbox combination. The loom is labelled so it shouldnt be a very big issue to fit. Updating with Pictures of the ...

I have to discuss all prices with the co-owner, so i cant give estimates at the moment, feel free to make offers though. The steering surround is (like all alto's of the era) pretty fubar, just due to sun damage and the plastic that they used was easily degraded under either UV or heat (my guess is ...

As a side note, will also have the entire shell available in about 6 months for an easy changeover to F6A or K6A into a mightyboy (just buy the bare engine from an importer and no need to worry about the front cut).

I can get pics this coming weekend. It's not actually stored where i am during the week.

We are taking the aircon out (one of the main reasons we got the car), so no aircon accessories.

FS: Alto Works (mk2, 1989) full interior. Now with pics

I've got a full alto works interior from a "works i.e." model, all in immaculate condition. This includes dash, centre console, seats (front and back), non-ADR approved seat belts, steering wheel. It's currently open to offers, would be perfect for modernising the interior of a mighty-boy....

I'm talking F5B (alto works) engine here, if you have a mightyboy, you will require a custom manifold replacement, perhaps a modification of the F5A powered alto works (mk1) exhaust manifold. In other words, if you are upgrading from an n/a mightyboy or alto, whichever turbo you use, you will need t...

is the bolt on pattern the same or do you have to modify it to fit onto the manifold? there's two variants of the 31 rear - i know of another one (cant find pic atm) ah - the one you're bidding on on ebay is the other type - http://i19.ebayimg.com/03/i/06/44/fb/22_1_b.JPG There's one for the DOHC a...

31 is significantly smaller than the 32, RHB31 is made for the 550cc/660cc turbo engines, and the RHB32 is found on 1.0L and 1.3L engines.

If you have the budget, go a garrett GT15.

WTB: F5B AWD Tailshaft coupling

Got a new gearbox for the AWD alto works, and we're now in need of the coupling that goes from the gearbox/transfer case to the rear tailshaft. Here is a picture of where the part goes (dont have a picture of the part itself). http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/8037/missingbit3sd.jpg It's essentiall...
