Guys....here is the latest news all of which makes no logical sense. I spoke to Lance from Suzisport and he advised that the f5a did need back pressure, so I took it back to my exhaust shop and they fitted a third muffler, namely a 12" hotdog with a 1" restrictor hole in it, all this did w...

Thanx Brayden......the bottom line here is, I'm happy to loose 5 kph off the top, in exchange for the tuffest sounding f5a on the road. She will still pull 120kph, which I shouldn't be doing anyway, so in a way the final result will reduce the chances of throwing a piston out the side of the block. ...

Hi guys.....i need some feedback.....I had a new exhaust fitted yesterday and now I'm down on power. The system is a " Redback " 1 3/4 pipe with an 18" hotdog and a cannon at the end.......it sounds wicked, my little f5a now has attitude but I can notice loss of power both through the...

What's the go bro. G...

How do I advance f5a timing ?

Guys.....since I had the mega head job on my f5a, I can't get it to go any faster than 114kph......bearing in mind this litlle buggy could pull 125 any day of the week. Do you twist the distributor Left ( anti clockwise ) or right ( clockwise ) and by how many milimetres ? Any help will be appreciat...

Guys, I don't know what shit they soak these things in, but whatever it is it cleans all the build up of 20 years of grime and discolouring. My head now looks like it has come brand new from suzuki....pristeen aluminium finish. My question relating to revs, was in relation to the running in period.....

Colin, as always thanx for your colourful suggestion......although I'm not happy spending that much on a head job, if I went back to everyone who has worked on this car and got up them for over charging, no one would want to touch this little money pit. Firstly the guy I took it to, I've been doing ...

Fritz, Stevan, Brayden and Colin, I have been told it has to go back in 500k's to get the head and tappets adjusted......does that sound right ? And now that it's been rebuilt, do I need to stay under a certain rev range during the running in stage ? Any advice will be followed to the t, as I don't ...

I was a bit freaked out when I got bill, I mean I could have bought a reco f8b for same money......but when you look...

Worlds most expensive head job.

Hi guys.....after my last long winded bubbles in radiator thread, I now have had the most expensive head job.....all the bubbles / overheating and expansion tank dramas has lead to a complete f5a head rebuild. So to remove the head, repair corrosion damage, acid bath, resurface, valve grind, clean r...
