Does any vehicle come from the factory with an oil catch which i could use? If not from where can i get one?
And is it possible to change that pcv filter inside the cam cover?
Cheers.

Crankcase breather atmo venting: Power difference?
Hi guys! If i'm to disconnect the crankcase breather connected to the airfilter then how would that affect the engine perfromance? Means, usually hot gases come out of the vent when the engine is running if these hot gases are not fed into the airbox & the engine gets only fresh air then it shou...

Tyre air pressure for high speed highway driving?
Hi Guys, Tomorrow i'm going for a long drive (800km) in my Zook hatch, i need to know what pressure to put into the tires for high speed (100-120kmph) drives on the highway. The tires are 165/60/R12 Bridgestone Potenza GIII on alloys. How much should i fill front and back? I used to put 30 all aroun...

Thanks for the details and the pics mate. Really appreciate it. I have a few questions though: 1)Would it be possible to run the charger as a drawthrough setup? 2)Turbos use wastegate to control boost. How is it done in superchargers? 3)What's the max boost that can be safely run on the F8B motor wi...

The 300 series Aisan superchargers fitted to Kei cars are great for the F8B, simply becuase the F8B isn't a high-revving motor (without a lot of work!) and the charger gives the motor something it really lacks: TORQUE! Brayden how much would the 300 series Aisan superchargers cost? Where ...

When i'm starting the car the pump clunks al lot as the the fuel inside the pump drains back to the filter, when the pump get filled with fuel the clunking stops and runs quiet. No this is not a fuel injection pump. I asked a mechanic whether there would be any problem if i mount the pump in the eng...

Thanks for the reply Mowog. Today i tried different wires present in the engine compartment which will be live when the ignition is turned on. In the end i found one, it's the one going to the carb solenoid, i have connected the pump wire there and seems to work fine, i have to do high speed tests y...

Today i measured the fuel flow from the pump using a 1 liter bottle. To fill the 1 liter bottle it takes almost 50 seconds of pumping. It comes to around 61 liters per hour. Is this rate of flow enough for the F8B engine during hard acceleration in low gears and sustained high speeds (130kmph - 140k...

The main reason i'm going for a electric pump is coz i want to get rid of the mech pump, the oil leak from the pump packing can never be stopped. I tried many times and the oil still leaks. If i can get the electric pump working i can remove the mech pump and put a cover over the mounting flange and...

So could it could be that the power is not going to the coil properly... i'll try the pump with the relay on a different circuit. Brayden, the pump isn't one from a EFI engine, it's a carb engine, a carbed 1.8liter Isuzu. Boosted, this pump makes a tickling sound but that's when the pump doesn't get...

Flow rate!!?? Electric fuel pump problem.
Hi guys, i've tried using an electric fuel pump in lieu of the mechanical one in my hatch. The pump is a generic one, used for a carburetted 1.8 liter vehicle. The problem is that when revving hard or going fast (trying to overtake for example) the engine suddenly dies, it simply dies. The power for...
