Can you use MDF, or will it be too weak. I think i realise why Brayden suggested marine ply, Cause its thicker and you can shape it? I.e. round the edges off...Is that right? (apart from being waterproof)

Make the mould out of marine ply with a very smooth epoxy coating to prevent the fibreglass sticking. Any fibreglass supply shop will be able to guide you through the process. To answer my own question...No an alto combo switch wont fit on a MB. (too big) And as Brayden said the wiring is compleatly different, the mb has 19 wires, where the alto has 17.
