Mightyboy rolling shell
$500 or make me an offer Last ditch attempt to sell this to someone who will look after and restore her - I need the garage space so if she's not sold in 2 weeks its off to the big scrapheap in the sky which would be a damn shame. I know a towie with resonable rates if that helps (legit, fully insur...

Re: f5a -f8 pistons
Try comparing them to motorcycle pistons and see if you can find a match?
Probably your best bet for finding suitable small Pistons if you can't source any specifically for the F5A

For sale: that $50 engine and gearbox, I can't use it
Alright so this is embarrassing, but between me not realising that the "F8" in a Carry was an F8A rather than an F8B and my brother who collected it not realising that I thought I was buying a 3 cylinder engine, I bought the $50 engine that was recently advertised here and can't actually u...

Re: Which engine should I chuck in it?
Thanks Brayden, yes my F6A is a SOHC so the turbo stuff should bolt on with a minimum of fuss, yes? I've picked up an F8B however it was out of a carry so has the incorrect mounts for a Mightyboy, any idea where I can get some? I am also planning to use the F6A gearbox, it is my understanding that t...

Which engine should I chuck in it?
Hi guys, I've got a stripped out project Mightyboy that I tried to sell a while ago without any interest, so I've decided to keep it and finish it myself as time and money allows. Currently, it is engineless although it came within F6A in need of a rebuild and I wanted your opinions on what I should...

Re: carby from china
I know it doesn't help with the auto vs manual aspect of your question, but I can confirm the Kazuma Mammoth carny works a treat on manual F8Bs at least - maybe try buying a carb from Kazuma instead of having to buy 20 at once from Alibaba? Also try Aliexpress - it's a part of the Alibaba company bu...

Re: Please help
Hi Erin, I just got some work done on my Mighty Boy with an F8B in it (timing kit, new water pump, reco oil pump and various seals and gaskets) at Suzi Auto Services in Springwood. Came up nicely and they had all the bits on hand so I got it back the same day. Give them a call and they should be abl...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hi everyone! I have just bought a Mightyboy with a F8B conversion already done on it, needs some work to get it roadworthy but that's part of the fun of these little cars. I intend to use it as my "wet weather" vehicle once its back together, just a quick 15km squirt up the Ipswich motorwa...
