:idea: Howdy to my way of thinking it would surely be easier to modify a GTI to resemble a ute .What is the weight difference between swift and MB (about 120kgs) some cutting and sheet metal work could probably level that out giving you the stats your after, maybe not the looks but ,just a thought.

Dougy howdy nice to know of another owner in the Gong are you replacing a cracked or a missing bumper (a good plastic welder in Ingleburn can repair reletively cheap ) Cheers

Trev , no adjustment on the valve lash adjusters (there like the new commis) if u need new ones $117 each much cheaper to buy second hand head from wreckers. As for removing, once cam is off a strong magnet or head removal ( you dont want to do that) no shims it is haudraulic. I have a copy of the S...

Trev another pain is the proximity of the speedo cable to the heater valve assembly also talking about wiring mine is split inside the cab and runs under the heater housing assembly then through a blanked hole in O/S firewall (thus reducing the diameter of harness by half) and as there is a VH boost...

Thanks heaps for that Brayden with the mods Ive done the new dimensions I have are 1265 Front and 1220 Rear will this be a hassle with the Engineers Certificate
