G16B is in, none of the previous threads on what to do to your g16b have helped unfortunately all the modifications have been totally different in up to 90 percent of areas. Its a 2001 model engine from a Baleno so not sure if there are differences to the earlier 1996/97/98/99/00 apart form 98 onwar...

Highway clutch service $140 aud with recoed pressure plate
also got timing belt for 36.20 made by Bosch yet Repco wanted 99aud for
supercrap auto is good sometimes

Abs want 290aud for a clutch kit so far thats the best price in Australia
but going to highway clutch tomorrow to see If I can get a better price
on their kit or rebuild the OEM one I have with organic non asbestos ceramic
lining and machine lightly the pressure plate.

That green hatch doesnt have much oomph just a little noise and could be much faster with
well sorted supercharged g10 or F10 in the rear with lsd, fwd G series box would be perfect
or even better G13B with some cams, pipes and extra compression.

Im aware of all the V4 engines even the scat midget v4 based on a chevy. Motus is my favorite by far. Did the measuring the other day on a 800 hatch engine bay, daewoo matiz, daihatsu handi and subaru sherpa and they all fit with ease even the twin cam ones fit with ease.
