Re: Gear shift selector adjustments??
Has anyone tried the stuff I am using now.... Nulon SS75W90 API GL-5 semi-synthetic hypoid gear oil? Here is the info on it: http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Gear_and_Differential_Oils/75W-90_Smooth_Shift_Manual_Gearbox_and_Transaxle_Oil/ Seemed a good idea at the time plus an OZ product. Brayden co...

Re: Gear shift selector adjustments??
Thanks.... Spent some time looking at it today. And now have a couple of other questions: 1 – The book isn’t real clear on the adjustment procedure. I loosen the 4 bolts from the underside of the MightyBoy with no problem but little movement is achievable. I assume that is to do with the fact that I...

Re: Gear shift selector adjustments??
Thanks Brayden,
Just reading section 12 of the SS40T Service Manual and it does have a section on that adjustment. I did not follow this procedure when I reassembled the car. So that could be the issue…

Gear shift selector adjustments??
Does anyone have any tips on setting up the gear shift selector arms correctly? During my total rebuild, I replaced all the usual worn linkage bits. But never got a situation that allowed for the selection of reverse 100% of the time. The other gears are a bit stiff on occasion but always engage cor...

Re: Wiper Ball Joints?
From memory the arm at the wiper motor end is a taper fit. Maybe try a small puller if you have one? I think that is what I used….
Good luck

Re: Left and Right headlight frames ????
Just had a closer look and now fixed! Wrong frames for the Mightyboy –they are 5x7 Suzuki but slightly different hole alignment. Put the new semi sealed beam units in the original frames and all 100%. So not sure what the other Suzuki ones are off. And yes both left and right are interchangeable wit...

Re: Left and Right headlight frames ????
Thanks.... No all three adjustment screws are correct (I made new S/S ones when I restored the car and they work and adjust fine). I will take them back out and compare the frames currently used with the ones I took out last week. The new +50 H4's are excellent – amazing difference – thanks for the ...

Left and Right headlight frames ????
Another stupid question! Are the headlight frames the same left and right on a Mightyboy (ie interchangeable )? I away assumed they were but in doing my lighting upgrade, and looking closely, they are not actual sitting level? Yet when I did the body works I was sure I had them sitting level? But I ...

Re: Using headlights with Xenon bulbs?
I was looking at this sort of Xenon arrangement: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/55W-H4-BI-XENON-HID-HI-LO-CONVERSION-KIT-4500K-6000K-/120646104938?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1711776a But not sure about them as price seems all over the place when you start looking. Basically I want max light ...
