like my post said my 4 speed f10a in top gear at 60kph is at 4200rpm at 80kph its doing 6000rpm so no im not racing im just trying to do the speed limit :P..... i put this down to the 5.125diff gears and the 4 speed remember these vans are made to carry 500kg around tight city streets and have 12 i...

changing at those revs wouldnt be suprised if your engine lasted a week!

na just the light makes it look abit dark. got 5% on the back and 20% on the front 2

mine makes that noise but only for a few seconds until the fuel gets through it (i assume). got it tested and there was nothing wrong with it. he said some of them are just noisy fuckers

started pretty easy, bit of choke got her going! warmed up then it was idleing perfect i was stoked!

the rebuild was quoted for only the bottom i did the top right before the bottom went.

yeah the f10a is used is sierras but it has a different oil pickup and sump cause the engine sits more upright. think there has been issues with overheating when using them.

i would rebuild but i got quoted 2000 and only 1000 for the swap.

turbo the f8a yay or ney, how much hassles will i be gettin?

1st question: gotta 5spd f10a in a 89 super carry with a blown bottom end, found a f8a with i think a 4spd box and not sure what year! Soooooo will the 5spd box fit on the f8a

2nd question: do the f10a and f8a have the same bottom end?

any ideas or suggestions would be appriciated!
