How does advancing to 9 deg retard it, and setting to 5 deg advance it?

Because the standard timing is 7 degrees BTDC.

what ever happened with those pics and measurments you were talking about brayden?...any luck finding them?ive given up hope on getting an F8b due to the lack of being rich...so i figured might as well do what i can to make the F5a run as best as i can for now...
