I got Nankang 165/55R13's on my mightyboy and the only time it rubs is when the tyre distorts on the rim and touches the rear bump stops.
And the speedo is pretty well perfect.

It looks like a real 'tough' ute that can carry a load too. :D

The Tempe packages come with Pirelli tyres, so thats why i was wondering if they came in a 175/50. Maybe if you call or email them they might be able to tell you, they might even be able to fit another brand of tyre if you asked nice enough. Just see what you can find out, and then tell us.

I bought the mags secondhand from suzisport stafford and the tyres i got from one of my dad's mates tyre place down the road. I think all up it cost somwhere between $550 - $600.

There were some near new 95 profile tyres on there when i got the secondhand mags so we did a trade in on some lower profile ones. I did have some pix of my car with the big tyres on but i think i lost them.

i have decided to get a set of Indy 13X5.5's with firestone 165/65's on them. i know it will put my speedo out by about 7k's but bob jane have an interset free period and the 175/50's are too damn expensive. should be putting them on in the next couple of weeks so yeah...

also, back to the tyre topic... i'm putting on 165/65, now is the best rim a 12X5 or a 13X5.5? also, will fitting this tyre cause trouble when i want to replace my suspension in the future, my front left strut is pretty stuffed......

i am getting some 15's with 165/50/15 tyres the tyre is a toyo, but i still gotta do some big mods to the inside of the wheel arches.
should look good though i plan on gettings some 5 spoke and setting the offset so they are flush with the body.

15's may look good but they make for a rough ride. Trust me.
