i am still looking for a motor but late model.
maybe daihatsu sirion m100rs 1 litre auto 3 cylinder.
1 at auction tomorrow.
living in the bush i have no one to ask no service station or workshops for a long way so thank you for your help.

Would be a major project to fit, especially as automatic. Have you got $1500-$2500 to spare?

i checked it out today change air filter and some pipework
it should fit quite good.
i was going to spend about $2000 on a front cut only.
this one only done 20,000 k s but to much damage will keep looking.

have a look at the daewoo matiz. i have just fitted a motor and box from one to my 'boy. they use a suzuki motor the f8c

thanks for your reply what size is the daewoo matiz f8c what hp.
How hard was the convertion did you update the brakes?
The charade motor I was going to fit is the cb71/90 1 litre intercooled turbo with 75hp but is 1987 I may need parts later so a later motor might
be better what year is the f8c. thanks agian Dave. :NFI:

F8C runs from '99 to 2004, however Daewoo have since been nuked, and Holden's support for spares is apparently less than fantastic. (Which is pretty much the same story for Daihatsu owners trying to source parts through Toyota.)

Size is the same as the F8B (796cc) although it has an extra handful of HP (F8C = 37kw, F8B = 29kw) thanks to the higher compression and EFI setup. The plastic intake plenum/runners look a bit nasty though.
