hey, im looking for a straight MB pref with an 800cc already fitted but not essential. would like the car running and drivable. mainly looking in adel and melb but can travel. i would like to keep it around $1500 - $2000. please help!!!!

I will be selling mine as soon as I have another set of wheels - I live in hilly country & really need a one tonne ute. Trouble is I am not financially in a position to make the move & won' t be for a couple of months.
I may be interested in a swap for a Sierra LWB or trayback around the same value as you suggest - roadworthy of course.
EDIT 04-02-08: no longer for sale - once I got it on the road, I fell in love with it.

So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..
have one that might be suitable. paintwork was resprayed 4 years ago but wasnt the best job, its a 543 manual, tyres are questionable, crack in steering wheel, rust in tray and tailgate. am after 1400+. i am converting another to a 800 so i should have a spare 543 with auto soon. would throw that in too if interested. will be posting ute on ebay hopefully in next month. i am in Sale, gippsland, about 250km east of melbourne
