Anyone have a part number or source for new strut tower caps to suit a Hatch/MB? Mine are getting pretty shagged and need replacing!

Part number: S*09250-30003 / Description: CAP

That is from National Capital Motors, they are $4.90ea I believe. (From my receipts)

The Support itself is S*41710-78052 / Description: SUPPORT, FR ST

and they come in at $95.70ea (NCM again).

If you have trouble getting them at these prices (could be cost price) give me a yell, my mate works for em.

Sorry it isn't the little plastic cap I am after, but the top "bush" I guess would be the accurate description.

Thanks for the heads-up mate, I'll pay a visit to NCM next week. :)

These are often called strut bearing plates. I expect every MB in existence to be due for replacements but would be (delightfully) surprised to find any.
I was after a pair for the G11 Charade I had several years back & could only find secondhand - this runs true for most cars except Commodore & Falcon.

I will keep looking however.

EDIT: Just found www.rollersandliners.com.au - old bushes can be re-rubbered.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

You're talking about the part which sits in the engine bay? - i.e. the big black thing with 3 bolt holes to the body ???

If that's what you're talking about I might have the part numbers as I bought new ones a while back. Still haven't fitted them yet though... :x
I bought mine from suziwest

That's the one, Fritz. Mine were in great condition until I fitted the 15's. Totally worth it though. :snigger:

Bonus. I'll order a set next week, unless I find some laying around the workshop that are in better condition.
