Cars in camo?

Hey peeps,

Just a quick general question. Is it legal too have a car sprayed in camo colours? I dunno what the go is on it, tried looking on the DPI website with no luck. I dunno i think i heard it somewhere that its illegal to have civilian vehicles in millitary colours.

Just asking cos i got a wrangler and have had the idea for a while. And i'm trying to figure out what i wanna use Krud's $900 handout for (i know a camo spray costs alot too, but at least it'll be 900 cheaper )

dont know about WA but in vic, Legally your car needs to be atleast 2/3's one colour, (or around there i cant remember the wording exactly)

Thanks for that. Yeah i still cant find any info on the subject anywhere, prolly have to ring up the fuzz and ask. Some one told me that u can do whatever as long as u can give a proper colour description on the rego.

yeh the majority of the car needs to be one colour, u may get away with it if u do say a complete green base with different colour patches?

but then again, anythings legal till u get pulled over

i've currently for an 87 4runner, the previous owner did a dodgy attempt at camo, no police issues at all. though it is brisbane not sure if it'll be different for you
