I remember many years ago at the Brisbane hot rod show there was a mightyboy there with a sub that took up the whole rear tray, dont remember much else as it was about ten years ago.

when i still had my mb. i was offered a i think it was a 31"(as far as i remember it was 31, dont quote me on it :P) sub (like the aforementioned it filled the "try") for about $250 boxed and all. the only thing was it was a 1000watt sub, and i already had my 400watt12" in the cabin with my 6x9's all amped nicely and that shook my body well.
i got ideas, just need the money and the car

if any of u guys got any photos fof stero installs can u please post them up cos i am in the process of attempting 2 design the most extreme insatll ever in a boy....

am looking at the option/possibility for pulling all the stero gear from my stero show car and fitting it in 2 the boy, just trying 2 find sponsors for paint/kit and the wheels......

list would include,
8x 12"subs
4x sets of 6.5"splits
a whole heap of amplifiers,
tv/dvd
cd player
and 7batts with a ac-dc converter for house power plugins,

want all this to be fitted in 2 the cab with only the batts/power sup in the tray. thats where the problem comes in making the lot fit in the cab and making it sound good........

anyway its just in the idea/drawing/planning stage atmo.

any thoughts from u lot out there in the mighty boy community? other than i will need the alto 660efi turbo just 2 move it all...

I think what Josh is trying to say is how on earth do you plan on getting 8x12" subs into the space behind the seats?! I could see 3 fitting in there, but anything more than that you'd just run out of space for the enclosure!

The space in question is about 1200mm across, and when you subtract 3x300mm for each sub you end up with a spare 300mm, which you would need for space between each sub. Height is also an issue, but you *might* be able to squeeze in another row on top to give you 6 subs.

Unless you plan on using some bloody creative angles and loosing the ability to put your seats in a driveable position then I think 8x12" subs is a bit of a pipe dream - not to mention overkill!

Personally I don't see the point, but each to their own. My system pumps hard enough for what I need.
