Any clues on suitable LED aftermarket side lights that might fit into the original front guard mounting holes? These are available on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TRUCK-TRAILER-LE ... 27b02b44a0
They are smaller and should be easily adaptable. Also seem to have ADR approval.
Any other sources out there?
Thanks

Yeah vt fit and I think they're nicer because they're clear with the orange globe. Much more modern
Thanks guys – excellent used VT Commodore ones (clear with orange does look best in my view) are available easily in Adelaide for $11 each from any of the Holden wreckers (btw new price seems around $61.64/pr from Rare Spares – but Holden dealers want your first born son!)
Will convert them to low powered LED’s before installing.

Here is the pretty picture from the Rare Spares website...

Here are two photos of the final results of the new VT Commodore side lights fitted and the original Suzuki alloy 12" x 4.00B rims mounted (Thanks to Steven!)

I just got these vt style lights in the post, I pulled off the standard ones and see that the indicator is hard wired to the fitting.
There is no twist lock lampholder with these new vt ones. Is it suppose to have one all is there a mod to do?
Cheers

you'll have to buy the fittings from holden, not real expensive $15 or so..
yea, just ask for the globe holders or what eva ya wanna call them.. you'll have to solder wires into the back of them tho i reckon.. i had to
I bought my side repeaters from a wrecker so I got the lens, globe holder, plug and about 6" of wire still connected. Best way to do it because they can then be removed easily if necessary.
From memory it cost me $25 for the pair, including everything above.
