hey
i'm in the process of trying to rewire my headlights in my mighty boy, but i'm having a bit of trouble trying to working out how to do it, i no that the headlights switch negatives not positives. and also my old wiring is fine i just wanna fit relays and heavier wires to run much brighter bulbs.

nah im not getting those crap ones, ive got them in my mr2 and they dull. i'm just gonna get standard sorta bulbs but i'm hoping to find some 55 or 60 by 100 or 130. those plus 50's and stuff are still 55/60. plus the standard wiring is crap and doesnt power stock bulbs enough

In my landcruiser i cut out the mucking around and threw in HID's... 2-3 times the light output and only 35w current draw... win/win
yes, they were expensive at the time $200+ easy but now they're cheap on ebay.

And yes, people do hate me driving at them, if they flash me, i flash them with HID spotlights too.

Or fit a big arse reversing spotlight on an illegal (cough) switch...
FYI: also done that but LED instead of HID.
