There are still a fair few service providers that don't feel the need to use their clients to fund extravagant lifestyles. Last time my parents went looking for quotes on a new kitchen, they asked the cheapest supplier why/how he could undercut the others. His answer,"how big was the other blokes boat".
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

im in qld and even though the adr rules book states quiet clearly that and seat which is not of original manufacturer equiptment which has been fitted to the vehile will require an LK1 certification, so long as the seat meets or exceeds the adr complience for that vehile, on the other hand if you have to drill and new holes or add and brackets or mounts to fit the seats you are more then likely to have a major headache on your hands. as far as i knew if it bolted straight in and did not require any modifications to fit it did not require approval, i was wrong i still had to get a mod plate, and even though it has the plate ive had the car defected 3 times for the seats and had to take it to the transport department for them to say yes the mod plate is for real yes the seats comply, what your engineer says and what the coppers say are two very very different things.

That is an unfortunate symptom of some indiscriminate 'Approved Persons' issuing plates on dodgy jobs in the past. They will eventually be weeded out just as the dodgy safety inspection (RWC) issuers were here in Maleny. (one operator was issuing certificates for dairy farmers trucks on a drive by basis - 15 years on & the authorities still give the local mechanics very thorough attention).

Can I suggest decent packaging & e-go for freight. e-go is a book online & drop to depot situation that will save money on freight. Pack the seats properly & there shouldn't be any problem.
