Hi People,

I am half way through a F8B conversion from the F5A. I have attached some pictures, this component sits in the gearbox connected to the speedo cluster cable. I'm after one to suit a Suzuki Alto F8B 800cc 3Cyl Gearbox.

Anyone know of a place where one could be sourced?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards Pedro.

Thats the speedo drive. What's wrong with the one you have?

It fits freely into the F5A box, but not the F8B gearbox, I thought there could be a different variant part available.

There were a couple of variants fitted both boxes depends how early or late model they were.
You have to change the whole thing over.(housing etc)
easier to fit another speedo cable.

Sorry, what I meant was why can't you use the F8B speedo drive? If it is because the cable doesn't match, as Mowog pointed out the easiest solution is to swap the cable.

I would, but the speedo drive from the F8B box is missing. Would the speedo drive come with the cable?

I'm almost certain you'd need to get one from another gearbox, or have one machined up. Worthwhile trying the usual Suzuki specialists though.
