what the heck do i do with my stock air intake thing sitting on the top of my carby what can i replace this with to give me more power. I plan on doing an oil change on the weekend and putting a nice exhaust thats a bit bigger than stock could anyone please tell me a good size for an exhaust that will be good for the car.
Cheers, Scott
Can somebody tell me..
1¾" exhaust is ideal.
As for the induction side, piss off the tennis raquet and get a RamFlo filter for it. It won't make much (if any) difference to performance, but it is washable and looks trick.

i got an estimate of about $400 for a all stainless 2" system under my boy.
Do you think 2 inch is a little oversize?

Stevan......I got mine from Super Cheap.....you'll have to hunt around as many as you can, because they were a deleted item.
I got mine for $20.
Looks like I'm going to have to use your whole carby I bought, to try and fix fix my problems.
Put some wicked looking wheels on my Alto Van.
Hows ya Boy comin' on ?

Didn't I used to be somebody once !
Really? Shit! I spilled fuel all over mine and nothing happened - well, besides washing out some of the oil stains from the PCV.

err is there a certain size im suppose to get for these RamFlo thingys?
You can still order them through SCA, they were only deleted as a shelf item.
I was working there at the time they were deleted and I don't ever recall hearing anything about problems with the sponge compound, but what I do remember is that we near enough to never moved any stock which seems like a far more likely explanation to me.
If you're going to order one in you'll need to measure the size of the carby apeture you're clamping to and advise the SCA team member of that at the time of ordering.

Is there possible for me to buy that ramflo induction filter online and have it shipped across????
I already have a 1 3/4" freeflow and desperately need a less restricted intake filter!!!!

I'm sure there are some local alternatives available to you Edmund... I can hardly see having a RamFlo filter shipped from Australia being worth your time...

Trust me Josh...... the only reason i asked is cuz ther arent any available here!!!!Josh wrote:I'm sure there are some local alternatives available to you Edmund... I can hardly see having a RamFlo filter shipped from Australia being worth your time...
The only option i have here is to sandwich a K&N filter between two plates an get myself a 360degree intake like the one brayden has..... one of my friends have done that here!!!
Heres the pic.............

The K&N would likely give you better air flow and filtration than the RamFlo anyway, Edmund!

both of them arent good for improvet performance there good for induction noise the better option would be to duct a filter to the front so you have cold air inducution not hot air as is found in your engine bay
