i believe they he had a family friend assist him with the prep, paint & airbrushing.
will post up pics of the f6a shifter mounted and installed and little console that goes over the shifter to cover the ugly looking thing.

not running as yet... been staying back at work (long hours) and havent got much of a chance to get to work on it in the afternoon's.
done the new fuel lines.
done all the new ecu wiring, fitted new coil and igniter in the engine bay. relocated a few relays that i had sitting in the engine bay, to inside behind the dash, along with more excess wiring i hid with it. to give the engine bay a cleaner look.
yet to fit the vl external pump. need to make a new bracket for a fuel filter somewhere in the engine bay.
done the necessary mods to the subframe, shaved it a bit aswell. i got that painted and fitted the new ball joint arms and tie rods while the subframe is still out. yet to fit the swaybar and new bushes... havent prep/painted as yet.
new exhaust from front to back is ready to go.
will post up some new pics when i can

finally got some work done over the christmas break.
got the hubs pressed in with new bearings, i couldnt get anyone to machine the discs, due to everyone local being on holidays. i've organised a bloke that machines the discs oncar.
finished off the fuel pump fitting and wiring.
removed old exhaust and fitted new exhaust that i had made while fitted on the ute with a rear cannon for show
installed new master brake cylinder.
got all wiring fed through finally and all the engine connected. fixed the new ecu into position, will plug in once i finish all the welding and grinding at the moment
yet to wire in the new cluster to the factory hatch plugs
installed a dual core radiator from f8b alto.. tight fit right next to the dump pipe
installed new ball joint arms, new tie rods, new cone bushes with the ball joints and new front sway bar bushes. steering rack has a bit of play in it... will need to be reconditioned when the koni's get done at the same time.
its all coming together slowly

Looks good mate, especially the new alto dash insude.
Instead of running the old hatch harness i woulf have customized the alto one to fit...
I'm assuming you've got the front cut so I'd like to think you could pull the alto harness out and fit it into the hatch.
Or did you already go down that path?
Anyway, keep up the good work and you'll be on the road in no time.

no need. its running an adaptronic aftermarket ecu.
none of the factory wiring needed to be touched. the ecu has a seperate loom to the facotry one.
if i had a front cut and wasnt using aftermarket ecu, i would of used all the alto wiring instead

just an last update. i handed the keys back over to the owner, picked up the car 2 weeks ago and drove it home to qld.
the tamon user is hatch back of notre dam
