It's an Alto. He has made it clear that he wants a Hatch, not an Alto.

Well by the sounds of it you are pretty desperate for a hatch and are unable to source one in your local area, yet your not desperate enough to have one transported down to you, so how badly do you want one again??
You should think yourself lucky that people are responding, not necessarily with information you want but this information opens up new doors of many options.
We are here to help you mate, and that's all we have done, I wouldn't be surprised if your latest attitude outburst is enough to turn people away from your thread and insist on not helping you out at all, and you have brought that on yourself.
Shane.

Whoa whoa, guys lets not get bitchy here.
Hatches seemed to be everywhere a few years ago, and as Col said once they only thing they are good for is a dog kennel... but even your dog would need to be desperate!

But like Datto 1600s and Geminis these things seem to be back in fashion and I've heard from a few people that are after them - problem is that I know I've personally sent a few to the metal crushers, and many others have too. I don't reckon there would be many of them still getting around.
Mantis is right though, we are all here to help. Some suggestions and comments might be a bit misguided, but I'm sure those people mean well.
.. by the way, it is Sunday, so chill out and have a beer.

Hey mate I was just trolling through the trading post, and stumbled across this, it's pretty cheap, not many details but could be worth a phone call, I'm unsure where Bentleigh is in relation to Horsham aswell...

hmmm ok it aint lookin real good this 800 hatch /so called dog box hunt,,l think ill give it to the end of the week and call it time out and take up an offer of a JE camira ,,they look pretty sweet after some work and not to mention on the light, ish side of things,,parts are everywere and practiclly get them for nothing..
if the hatch is getting that rare to get now it may be a wise thing to get one and store it as one day it may be worth more than we all think ???
see what happens??????????
cheers

A good friend of my dad used to own/race a JE Camira with a blown 350. It was insane.

yer true
a 350 would of luved it in a camira,,i bet it did some stunts..
real light in the front end ,and after there stripped down of all the unwanted junk the roll around pretty easy...i reacon i may be a good move ,,go camira
