thats a good question lol:P i havent had it engineered yet but i was talking to my performance mechanic about engineering while the conversion was being done and he said he would mod plate it as long as the brakes and everything are up to scratch safety wise and he knew it had engine management so im not sure,i have like 8 months rego left so im sure ill be able to do whatever it takes by then hopefully:P. ill keep you guys updated:)

When my engineer did my RX7, he told me just to hide the computer so the RTA dont see it! and it went through no problems

the setup that i installed from the mightyboy is alot more professional and properly done. no short cuts were taken. i did my best to make the install alot cleaner, but that wiring loom goes everywhere and makes it look messy. i did my best to hide alot of it behind the dash without hacking it up too much.

also modified a f8b mount to stiffen up the motor, but after doing that, realised need a similar thing on the passenger side which i never got around to and short after, cale picked up the car.

- new balljoints
- new tie rod ends
- new complete cone rubbers
- new swaybar rubbers
- wheel alignment
- serviced cv's with new boots
- new geniune master brake cylinder (very lucky find)
- rebuilt front calipers
- machine discs + good pads
- new bearings pressed into hubs
- fitted a plate to block off old shifter hole (never did in the mb)
- larger 3/8 copper fuel line to engine bent and using the factory brackets, wouldnt be able to tell that its different. (using standard return line)
- rust proofed the car completely underneath
- larger f8b alto radiator with metal tanks.
- transferred the top mount as a front mount infront of the radiator and created new intercooler piping
- mounted a f6a sohc alto works fwd dash complete and wired up the new cluster to the original hatch wiring loom
- vl external pump hidden under rear wheel arch
- 14" wheels from a suzuki swift gti
- mint front seats from 1989 honda crx
- 2.5" stainless steel dump to 2 1/4" mild steel exhaust with a quiet muffler and a cannon made interchangeable at the back.
- custom made intake up to 3" K&N pod filter
- turbosmart tee boost controller
- adaptronic e420b ecu running open loop
(no o2 sensor)
(max 17.5psi before ecu boost cuts, currently set at 11psi, spiking at 11.7psi @ 95hp)
(rev limiter of 8000rpm, 4000rpm cold when under 60 degrees)
- bosch single coil
- toyota 4age igniter

thats all i can think of, theres plenty more in it.

as for the ecu, your allowed to use a aftermarket ecu in cases such as a f6a being so rare, its nearly impossible to be able to located a factory computer setup here in australia. that its almost the only way. obviously it has to run a tune to pass emissions

It will also need a catalytic converter installed to pass emissions testing.

I'm surprised you got away with using the original MB fuel return line. I had to run two lengths of 3/8 bundy tube because the stock return wouldn't flow enough at idle. Heck it barely flowed enough when I had the carby setup running 15PSI fuel pressure!
