I went to the wreckers today, they wanted to charge me $50 for the broken dash, and the digital cluster has been taken by someone already, so i didn't bother with the dash. I pulled the engine down to inspect the bores ( tying to find a better F8b block than mine ) and found it a lot more damaged. Still repairable, but not what i'm looking for. Which was main reason for the trip. Cylinder head was in great shape, inc cam & valve gear, so i grabbed that as a spare at the least. The bottom end isn't worth anything to me atm, i have a spare F8b in pieces in the shed as well as my complete in need of rebore F8b i pulled from my boy.

nah.. sorry, was outbid and didn't get it in the end.
Kinda regret it now, but I don't have any spare cash at the moment which is what was stopped me.
Was very cool though - wish I had taken pictures now!

It is easier to put In just the cluster than the entire dash.
A small mod to the dash to hide some small gaps and your done.
