I don't mind either way, a bbq if the weather allows or the pub if it doesn't.
I just have to change my coil & test the boy further. Initial testing before the coil died was good, engine nice & strong, good compression, good pickup, only normal blow by but it was running a bit rich.
I hope the weather on Saturday is good enough to work on the boy!
Cheers

Hey Jay...
Don't push it, if it's not ready - Come in the EB & save it for the next run which is only about 6 weeks away...
I'd hate for anything untoward to happen on the cruise.
But it's your call.

Sorry guys,
but i cant make it, since my alto is awaiting a reco, i though i would use my other car.
An EF Falcon, but it too is stuffed
What are the odds,(having 2 cars and both arnt drivable)
Fingers crossed, i'll be alright for the next one.

I feel ya pain man, i've been there & done that!
I swapped the coil today & took my boy for a drive, and aside getting the carb tuned & needing to re-adjust the rocker gaps later, i think it might be good to go.

I just did my rocker gaps tonight. Interesting, the plate on the body told me to set them all at 0.25mm so I did. Then I looked at my Haynes manual and it told me 0.20mm, then I looked at my Holden Scurry service manual and it told me 0.13mm all cold, so I don't know.
Anyway Tez we are going to meet you at Wandin so I have sent a PM with my number just in case. See you all in just over 12 hours, Karu.
