Brayden wrote:I'm running Avon semis with king springs and upgraded struts with a rear swaybar and extra front bar. Goes well enough to pull second at last years South Coast Nationals in the motorkhana.

I'm in the process of switching to coilovers at the moment, but I think the spring rate will be too high.
Brayden,
Do you have a photo of your rear swaybar setup. I,m happy to get one custom made if I cant find a substitute, Did you notice a big diference from stock handling?
Thanks

I'd love a rear sway bar on my boy.

How does mine handle? Good on straight flat road lol. Has too much body roll & too much bounce, but that can be fixed by new shocks & springs down the track. For now, it handles good enough for how often I drive it, but it doesn't stick to the road like glue, as my EB Ghia does.....

Cheers

My mighty boy handles like a pregnant cow on acid. It's tiring to drive in a straight line and understeers like mad in the dry. In the wet I can get epic lift-off oversteer tho.

Although with a full set of worn bushes, positive camber and worn rear tyres this is to be expected...

I have ordered new poly bushes all round, and some camber pins so I'm expecting a dramatic improvement after that...

my boy handles better than any car iv ever driven.
i can go through roundabouts at 70kph, it sticks to the ground really really well with virtually no body roll.
if i tried that in my dads sonata it would probably roll over

Lol they are better than sonatas, try driving a 180sx with 9.5 wide drift teks and full coil overs, mb handles like a bag of shit compared. I still love it :)

I had a look at my strut tops yesterday, they are rather worn, so probably don't help handling either lol.

I'd love to have a thicker sway bar on the front & even just a sway bar on the back lol.

Cheers

my turbo one used to handle well running all worn out mb gear a set of sava 155 R12 light truck tyres, had a sub box made up which was a tight squeese it held the center of the car really stiff used to hit 3 wheels around roundabouts felt like it was on rails.
