offset

hey is the wheel offset from the inside or outside of the holes? 
Or to make things easier it should be written on the back of the rim spokes.

Wheel offset is measured from the centre of the rim width to the bolting face. Negative offset (FWD) places the bolting face further towards the outside, positive offset (RWD) is closer to the inside edge.
Or to make things easier it should be written on the back of the rim spokes.
