Weber Carb to suit F5a ?

Guys, is there a small webber carby to suit the F5a engine and is there an adaptor plate as well ?

If so, what is the model numbers for both and where can I get one and approximately how much.

Quite possibly. Your $$$$ would be far better spent for a f8b conversion though. They're more powerfull AND more economical.

Any weber that would run good on a f5a would probably not make a good choice for the f8b, so if you did eventually upgrade to the f8 you'd have to fork out more $$$ for another carb. ;-(

a little 30DIC weber could probably be jetted to suit
finding one might be abit of a challenge tho

Thanks Joel.....and Fritz I've already spent over $2000 on this engine, so an upgrade is out of the question.....just a wisker more get up and go will be sufficient.

If I can find one, is there an adaptor plate to suit ?
