if it is what i think your referring to, it's the holder for the fuel filter, or in my case, a brace for my fuel pump.

Have a look if a previous owner has moved it into the engine bay.

is there only 1 fuel filter ?? if so then its in the engine bay cause i put a new one in when i got the car cause the old one was clogged. its only a little plastic one... is that ok ?? it hints to me its quite different to the one thats ment to go in that brace dealy.

oh, when i said if i should get one for some reason i thought it ment there was more then 1

Having the filter in the engine bay is fine, although I would suggest changing it to one with a brass/metal casing, as plastic ones tend to melt and cause a big fireball in your engine bay. ;)

(Hense the reason the stock one is fitted at the rear of the vehicle.)

I dunno mate! All I can remember is that it has a right angle fitting on the bottom, and a straight fitting on the top!

Sweet. That's what i wanted to know!

Mine has the inlet and outlet on the bottom, which is why I'm getting the kinking all the time. :D

those little plastic fuel filters are garbage - in addition to what brayden said the paper in them breaks real easily.... one of my mates f'd his engine over because of it!
