Very bad and moderately good news!

Well, the bad news is, a little over a week ago i had an accident in the boy. Embarassingly it was completely my fault; i was going too fast for the conditions (dirt road, rain).
I narrowly avoided coming together with a drop-off and many trees and found myself up against a dirt bank. Dirt banks unfortunately don't move.
Damage wasn't too bad, luckily i had enough sense to not be doing ridiculous speeds, i was doing about 55.
Lower control arm bent, ball joint snapped, steering is out, front left and rear left tyres debeaded, front left quarter mangled, rear left quarter mangled, and my already terrible engine mounts are completely shagged.
It's going to be a slow road to recovery, having engine mounts fabricated is annoyingly expensive.
In other news, due to the accident i've decided to finally get a front bar on. Item of choice was a daihatsu mira bar i picked up locally.
So it looks like this right now;

I'm no panel beater so it's pretty dodgy, pic's bad 'cause i was excited (that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it).
Lately i've been toying with the idea of adapting mini-flares, and then whacking on some 15x6" wheels. Obviously a long way off, but what is everyone's opinions?
