Does anyone see any probs with this engine having a supercharger, or what problems it could cause. Any other imput about it would be great
thanks,
Tom

Its a half-arsed job that was never finished and never running. To be blunt I'd say you're buying your way into a load of problems.
The carby is about 4 times too big for the motor, supercharged or not. The manual conversion doesn't look finished, the distributor hasn't been touched (regraphing required for forced induction), and I doubt the thing would be registerable with the carby sticking through the bonnet!
But if you like a challenge...

To be honest if you had the time and money to complete the job then yeah it would be a good buy for the price, but I think you'd have to reverse so much of the work they've started that you'd be better off buying the bits you need to add forced induction to your current ute.
But again, it all comes down to the sort of time and money you have available.

Also, be careful if you do decide on it, and anyone else that has had this offer that it isn't a scam. I had something similar happen to me a while back when i was gonna buy a 'Boy off eBay. The auction itself was genuine, but after it finished i received a second chance offer saying that due to a non paying bidder i could buy the ute for $xx, was a good deal, but a scam.
