annoying recurring supercharger question

simple question:

as seen here the alternator seems to be moved to the back and hes tried putting a single belt setup in. could you leave the alternator down in front with a dual belt setup and still have to sc in front?

There just isn't enough room for both at the front, unless you moved the alternator or charger up near the rocker cover (using a bracket like Col used on his turbo setup) and then used a remote oil filter locator.

so the way hes done it is probably easiest. except i still want the dual belt. i would need to move the engine a bit to fit alternator at the back then wont i?

Nope. F6A has the alternator at the back, plenty of room there.

Ok, resurrecting this thread, has anyone actually put a AMR300 on a F8B yet?

Could i get away with jetting the F8B carb or would I need a Charade Turbo Carby?

Or am I better off Just getting a F6A front cut?

I've got plans swimming for my next boy, As soon as i find one!

No reason you couldn't jet up the standard carby, but you'd need to build a pressure box around it.

Is there any reason you wouldn't be able to swing the s/charger around the wrong way and mount it to the body where the washer bottle is?
I know they'll be movement because the engine is rubber mounted but i wouldn't think that would matter as everything moves from the crank pully... i mean that's where the torque is generated so (in theory) the crank should sit still and the engine should move..
Any thoughts?

Which direction does the blower need to turn in relation to crankshaft?
If Stevo's idea used the blower efectively rotates in the opposite direction to the crank - problem or solution? I have no idea.

The blower needs to run in the same direction as the crank, otherwise it would reverse the flow of air.
